“In 1983 the dokumentary film "Breakin and Entering" showed the Breakdance/Music Scene in LA. Starring artists like Egyptian Lover, Ice T and Chris "the Glove" Taylor and with an outstanding soundtrack this dokumentary became legendary. Here is the story how we found the vinyl. JOHN DEAKINS JOURNEY TO LA

“The Lonzo picture was taken in September 1988. I was staying in Orange County just south of L.A. and I went to visit Macola Records on Santa Monica Blvd to buy some records that I could not find in the UK (Byron Davis, Two Live Crew, Organisation to name a few). They were really friendly and gave me an old print out catalog but I knew what I was looking for, they let me walk around the warehouse where I saw stacks of records that I considered classics.
